Our Mission
Gaming For All is a charity organisation that provides outreach opportunities to students and young people from underrepresented backgrounds in higher education institutions, courses within these institutions and the UK games sector.
We aim to link the steps between secondary education, higher education, and obtaining careers in the games industry through different assemblies, workshops and experiences.
All of our workshops,
- Align with the secondary school curriculum.
- Highlight transferable skills through engagement in areas students are passionate about.
- Link to Higher Education.
- Link to the games industry.
Engaging with us shows students from underrepresented backgrounds that both higher education and the games sector is just as much their arena as anyone else’s, and could inspire them to pursue a journey into both. Therefore making both the UK games sector and courses within Higher Education more inclusive.
We believe gaming is for all, and up to all of us to make changes for the better, no matter how small.
We are an impartial organisation and will therefore never promote any specific educational provider, course or company. We are committed to remaining impartial and will never act as a recruitment channel. While some activities may involve collaboration with educational institutions or specific companies, any exposure to these providers is incidental and not intended to promote them over anyone else.
